Simple ruling for frame in plummet, including frame for gloss, each line going to the edge. Fainter ruling for the writing lines.
Large initials are two- or three-line lombards in red or blue, with restrained flourishing in the other colour. Paraphs are blue.
Measuring from the verso, the vertical gloss columns are 25mm wide, with a reservation of 10mm between each of them and the main text-block; beyond the right-hand gloss column, there is a margin of 35mm. The horizontal gloss is 25mm (and 4 lines) high, and 15mm above the top line; above it there is a upper margin of 25mm.
