[Editorial Note] DP. A list of titles and prices of books bought, arranged under names of various college-based customers. Refers to 'Sr hackwell of exeter coledg' [George Hakewill, fellow of Exeter 1596--1611], 'Mr Goff' [Stephen Goffe, fellow of Magdalen 1598--1603], 'Mr Spiser' [probably Alexander Spicer, fellow of Exeter 1596--1609], and 'Mr Ashworth' [Henry Ashworth, physician, fellow of Oriel from 1574?]. The authors include Herodotus, Zanchius, Ursinus, Rosinus, and Pererius. The front pastedown is a fragment from a different set of s. xvi/xvii accounts on paper, apparently legal. Referred to in Pastedowns p. 218.
