Cf. no. 246. Possibly a fragment from a glossed Bible bequeathed to Christ Church, Canterbury by Ralph of Rheims in 1194; see C. F. R. de Hamel, Glossed Books of the Bible and the Origins of the Paris Book Trade (Woodbridge 1984), p. 42. Ker wondered whether this fragment came from the same source as Pastedowns 246 (Merton College, 46.K.7), but Andrew Watson compared them and established that they are different MSS.
